The Constituency Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Sagnarigu, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Ridwan, has purchased nomination forms for all polling station executive aspirants across the constituency.
The Sagnarigu Constituency comprises 156 polling stations, and a total of 1,200 forms have been procured to cover all prospective aspirants.
A close source within his team disclosed that the gesture is aimed at easing the financial burden on aspirants, particularly at a time when the party is in opposition.
The source further indicated that Alhaji Ridwan has urged that the forms be made available to aspirants free of charge.
Some incumbent executives and aspiring candidates have jointly expressed their profound gratitude to Alhaji Abdul Rahman Ridwan for the intervention.
They also pledged their support for his re-election as Constituency Secretary, citing his commitment to the growth of the party.
Alhaji Abdul Rahman Ridwan, who is the incumbent Secretary, is seeking re-election in the upcoming constituency polls.
Meanwhile, the New Patriotic Party officially opened nominations for polling station executive elections on April 20, 2026.The nomination period is expected to end on April 24, 2026, with elections scheduled for May 10, 2026.
